NIGERIA AT CROSS ROAD AND REASONS FOR AGITATION.

Image result for map of nigeriaThe was a country written by Chinua Achebe on his PERSONAL HISTORY OF BIAFRA. According to Achebe the country existed for only three years (1967-1970).The country had its own Government,Currency,Military personnel, War power etc.
The leader of IPOB NNAMDI KANU, a freedom fighter  is agitating for restoration of that Country Biafra not Declaration.

Failure of the federal government to implementation Chukwuememka Odumegwu Ojukwu and Yakubu Gowon's aggreement at Aburi Accord conference in Ghana to restore peace, equity and fairness in the nation Nigeria, but continued massacre of the Igbos in the North warranted the then  Regional Governor, Ojukwu to declare the state of Biafra which led to the massacre of about 3million Igbos living in many parts of the Northern Nigeria and this was described as the highest genocide in Africa.
After the civil war, the 3 decades of Northern Military regime committed more atrocities against the Igbos and the creation of 19 states, more LGAs, allocation of oil wells, more representatives in the National Assembly and Red chamber all in favor of the
North.

President Buhari came to power in 2015 and worsen the case by his lopsided appointments of services chiefs and other key positions, detention of Nnamdi Kanu and unlawful detention of his oppositions.
At this moment, the need for National Question, agitation and restructuring
arose because the solutions were not found.

The 2014 CONFAB organised by Jonathan to dialogue the continue existence of Nigeria's unity. Failure of the implementation have torn Nigeria apart, agitation for the state of Biafra and realignment of the region to purse inter regional cooperation of integrate for the economic benefit of the regions to politically work together as a people that share common heritage culture and affinities.
In summary, Ojukwu stood for Aburi accord must be reversed and Nnamdi kanu should not be condemn by anybody not even the Igbo leaders.
